Qetaifan Projects Company, a subsidiary of Katara Hospitality, Qatar’s leading global hotel owner, developer, and operator, has appointed Just Real Estate (JRE), the country’s leading property service provider, as an exclusive sales agent for its iconic Qetaifan Island North development.
“This is a huge vote of confidence in Just Real Estate,” commented Eng. Nasser Al-Ansari, JRE Chairman. “We are honored and excited to be associated with this iconic waterfront destination which will redefine the local and regional residential, hospitality, entertainment, and leisure sectors through investment and innovation. Working with Katara Hospitality, we will ensure the success of this glass-ceiling development which will leave an outstanding legacy for future generations, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030,” commented Eng. Nasser Al-Ansari, JRE Chairman.
“Given Qetaifan Island North’s role in significantly raising Qatar’s global profile, I can assure our clients, investors, residents and the public in general that JRE will bring its best efforts to ensuring the total realization of strong investor interest in this multi-faceted destination.”
The 1.3 million sqm Qetaifan Island North, which will be connected to the coastal city of Lusail via a statement hanging bridge, will be a family-oriented recreational and entertainment hub offering residential, hospitality and retail investment opportunities. More than half the island will comprise a huge water park, luxury hotels, well-serviced, high-end homes, a mosque, school and a lakeside central park that will connect to the sea allowing leisure activities including fishing and boating. The park will also host snack stalls, toilets, prayer rooms, viewing benches, air-conditioned meeting rooms, children’s games rooms, and lounges.
Qetaifan Island North will also have access to seven beaches and will include an exclusive club with recreational activities for visitors and residents including a restaurant, swimming pool, health, and sports clubs, a children’s area as well as a beach corridor for swimming.
Due to its proximity to the Lusail Stadium, which will host the opening match and final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the development will also be a central entertainment and leisure destination for tournament-goers.
The first phase of Qetaifan Island North is due for completion by November 2021.
